Cancer Care of NCW Awarded Confluence Health Grant

Today we are happy to announce that we have been awarded a grant from the Confluence Health and Wenatchee Valley Medical Group Community Health Partnership Fund, managed by the Confluence Health Foundation. This grant is co-funded by the two groups to provide community support to organizations and causes in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan counties that enhance not only health and wellness directly, but also projects that work to address the social determinants of health.

This past summer, Cancer Care of North Central Washington submitted an application to the Community Health Partnership Fund Committee in support of our Patient Assistance Program, which helps local cancer patients with essential needs such as transportation to treatment, nutritional support, lodging, and household expenses during their cancer journey. We are happy to report that we received a grant to help sustain and expand this vital work!

We want to thank our partners at Confluence Health, the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group, and the Confluence Health Foundation for their support, and we are looking forward to all the good this grant will do for patients and families right here in our community.

We are so grateful for this partnership and for the generosity of everyone who continues to support Cancer Care of NCW. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of those facing cancer.
